How MaplePath works: levels & points
MaplePath is built on people helping people through the Canadian immigration journey. Every helpful action earns contribution points, and points move you up seven levels— shown as the coloured ring on your avatar. Points can't be bought or cashed out: your level is earned reputation, nothing else.
🍁 Founding-member boost: everything you earn counts double for your first 60 days (the welcome bonus stays flat).

How you earn points
Points reward helpfulness, not volume — the biggest reward is your answer being chosen as the Best Answer.

Reaching Explorer — your first level-up
New members start as Newcomer with instant access to the Start Here board, open Q&A, and all tools and guides. Reaching Explorer (100 points)unlocks posting on every journey board — Express Entry, OINP, Study, Work and more. It's an anti-spam step, not a paywall, and most people get there on day one:
