Does AIP have a language and education minimum, or is the job offer enough?

nurse_newcomer
If I have a designated-employer job offer lined up, do I still need IELTS and a credential assessment for AIP?

The job offer isn't the whole story — AIP also has a minimum language level (commonly CLB 5 for many roles, lower for some lower-skilled positions), an education requirement (a Canadian credential or an ECA for foreign education), and proof of funds unless you're already working in Canada. The exact bar depends on the job's skill level, so check the canada.ca AIP requirements against your specific NOC. General information from my own experience, not legal advice — for anything specific to your file, a licensed RCIC or immigration lawyer can look at your actual documents.
