How is "Express Entry BC" different from the regular Skills Immigration stream?
priya_pgwp
When I register I'm asked whether I want the Express Entry BC option. Does that make the requirements easier, or is it just a different door to the same thing?

Express Entry BC (EEBC) isn't an easier set of criteria — it's a way to register a Skills Immigration application while you're also in the federal Express Entry pool. You still have to qualify for an underlying B.C. stream (usually with a B.C. job offer), but if BC nominates you through EEBC you get the +600 CRS and can move faster on the federal side. So it's the same B.C. requirements, plus a valid EE profile as the extra ingredient. General information from my own experience, not legal advice — for anything specific to your file, a licensed RCIC or immigration lawyer can look at your actual documents.
