Got refused for study permit — funds and study plan both flagged. Reapply or wait?

My refusal letter mentions both insufficient funds shown and that my study plan wasn't convincing. This is my first refusal. Should I fix and reapply right away or wait a term?

    There's no mandatory waiting period to reapply after a refusal — you can reapply as soon as you've actually fixed the issues, but reapplying with the same weak file just gets you the same refusal. Get the actual GCMS notes (your notes on file) so you know exactly what the officer wrote, not just the template refusal letter — an RCIC can request these for you. Fix funds with a stable 4+ month history (no last-minute deposits) and rewrite the study plan to clearly tie your program to your background and post-study goals.     A friend of mine got refused for a vague study plan, rewrote it to be way more specific about why that program + that school, and got approved the second time about 6 weeks later.
