Can I switch employers while my LMIA-based work permit application is still processing?

An employer-specific work permit (LMIA-backed) ties you to that specific employer, position and, usually, location — switching before a decision generally means withdrawing and starting over with a new LMIA and application for the new employer, it doesn't transfer automatically. Given the cost and time an employer puts into an LMIA, this is worth a real conversation with an RCIC before you make a move, not a forum guess.
