Employer says they'll sponsor an LMIA in 3 months — should I wait or find something else now?

I'm on a PGWP with about 8 months left. An employer verbally offered to start an LMIA process "in a few months." Worth waiting, or should I keep applying elsewhere too?

Verbal promises to start an LMIA later aren't the same as a real job offer, and LMIA processing itself takes time on top of that — I'd keep applying elsewhere in parallel and treat the LMIA promise as a bonus, not your Plan A, especially with your PGWP clock running.
