Alberta Opportunity Stream — do I already have to be working in Alberta to apply?

The Alberta Opportunity Stream is built for people already living and working in Alberta on an eligible work permit, with a full-time job offer from your current Alberta employer in an eligible occupation — it's not an overseas route. If you're still abroad, the Alberta Express Entry Stream is the more realistic path, since it draws from the federal pool.
