How is the SINP points grid different from my CRS score?

priya_pgwp
I have a CRS score from Express Entry. Is the SINP score the same thing, or a separate calculation?

They're separate. The SINP Expression of Interest points (a 100-point grid across education, work experience, language, age, and connection to Saskatchewan) decide whether SINP invites you from its pool. CRS is the federal Express Entry ranking. If you're going through SINP's Express Entry sub-category you need both — a valid EE profile and enough SINP points — and a provincial nomination then adds 600 to your CRS. Don't assume a strong CRS automatically means a strong SINP score; the factors are weighted differently.
