What is the skill level (NOC TEER) of your occupation?
Each province scores you on its own scale: Ontario's Workforce Priority stream is out of 130, British Columbia's SIRS is out of 200, and Manitoba's Expression of Interest ranking is out of about 1,000. A “118” in Ontario and a “150” in BC measure completely different things against completely different cut-offs — so putting them in one leaderboard by number would be actively misleading. Instead we check eligibility gates first (a Manitoba connection, a B.C. job offer, an occupation TEER), then rank by how competitive your profile is within each program.
Alberta (AAIP) and Nova Scotia (NSNP) publish no province-wide points score, so they are shown as eligibility checks — which streams may fit you — rather than a number. Saskatchewan (SINP) has no MaplePath calculator yet and appears as guide-only.
Because provincial scores are not comparable. Ontario OINP is out of 130, BC SIRS out of 200, and Manitoba MPNP EOI out of about 1,000 — different scales, different meanings, different cut-offs. Ranking by the raw number would be misleading. This tool ranks by eligibility first, then by how competitive you are within each program.
Is a good result a guarantee of nomination?
No. A nomination is provincial discretion, and provinces run targeted, selective draws. "Where you are most competitive" tells you where to focus — it is not a prediction that you will be nominated. Enhanced streams add +600 CRS in Express Entry, but base streams select independently.
Are these the same numbers as the full calculators?
Yes. Every per-province result comes from the same verified MaplePath engines that power the standalone OINP, BC PNP, and MPNP calculators. Because the wizard asks fewer questions, fields you do not provide use conservative defaults — so each card is an estimate you should refine in the province’s full calculator.
Why do some provinces show no competitiveness band?
We only show a band when we can verify a province’s most recent official draw cut-off. Ontario’s Workforce Priority EOI intake opened August 4, 2026, but no draw cut-off has been published yet. Where an official current cut-off cannot be verified, we show the score for preparation rather than inventing a band.
