Effective April 7, 2026, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) introduced a $135 CAD fee for submitting a Worker Expression of Interest (EOI).
Alberta also launched an Eligibility Explorer tool on June 17, 2026 to help workers and employers identify which AAIP stream fits their situation. The AAIP’s Express Entry pathway continues to prioritize healthcare, technology, and — newly — policing occupations.
